Datalogic's Magellan 8500 scanner and scanner/scales are the highest performing fixed point-of-sale (POS) scanners in the world.  Specifically designed for high-volume retail applications. They are equipped with stainless steel platters and can be configured as either scanner or scanner/scale combination. The 8500 model model options include two lengths: long and short (scanner only) to accommodate various point-of-sale configurations.
